Laughter Wellness and Laughter Yoga Leader Training Workshop

What?

This certified two day workshop includes:
  • Laughter Yoga: history, concept, philosophy
  • Health benefits of laughter
  • Laughter session(s)
  • Laughter Leader facilitation skills
  • How to start a laughter club
  • Laughing alone; with mental health support groups; in aged care facilities; and schools
  • Introduction to the Five Ways to Wellbeing, background information and ways to apply it within the community
  • Introduction to positive psychology
  • Relaxation techniques (diaphragmatic breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, mindfulness)

There's a concoction of feel good hormones that are released when we laugh, coupled with off-setting the stress hormones and triggering the relaxation response, this is a tool you're not going to want to miss out on learning. Breathe and Chill Out Workshop

Bring: Your togs, a towel and a yoga mat if you have one.

What?
This workshop is based on the premise that you can find your way to health, happiness and strength using these three pillars: The Breath, Mind Set and Cold Exposure.

During this workshop you will learn how to use your breath to increase energy; suppress inflammation and increase your immune system; increase pain and cold tolerance; improve cardiovascular conditioning; turn the body into an alkaline state; increase endurance and performance; and re-connect with yourself.


You will also learn how you can use the cold to treat depression and anxiety; lose body fat and increase more energy!

We recommend you eat a light snack before the workshop. Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork.
