Build your team through community projects

Have you ever thought of using your employees to design a project with the community, for the community? How about working with a school group to make an interactive activity, build raised flower gardens for seniors, beautify a part of a suburb that needs it, install some guerrilla art, convert one of your offices into an indoor edible garden?!

1.  LUNCHBOX PRESENTATION

Our presentation will provide for you the possibilities that will inspire, motivate and educate employees about community projects that are happening locally and globally.

(45 minutes)

This could include a tour of community projects (if living in Christchurch, New Zealand).

2.  CO:CREATE

We can build one or more teams within your organisation to design a community project.

As facilitators, we work with your teams to design a community project. However, your teams will be taking the lead.

This design stage is when your teams will be building collegiality as they self initiate a project and meet a community need.

By the end of the Co:Create stage, your teams have planned and designed a project, ready for activation.

(3.5 hours per team of up to 6 participants)

Gap Filler's Pallet Pavilion was built by 250 volunteers. Your project doesn't have to be this big!

3.  ACTIVATE

Time to put plans into action. Teams will problem solve the finer details of the project, and work towards activation.

Certain participants may discover new talents and skills within themselves they never knew they had!

A sense of pride and purpose is achieved in completing a community project through Co:Activate.

A Co:Activate facilitator is present in all three stages.
